Hello everyone! another wek gone by, and yet again i cant really believe it. this last week elder koo and i were doing weekly planning, or maybe it was two weks ago, i cant remember exactly, i think it might have been two weeks, ago, but we were thingking about what we can do to help the branch the best while we are together here in geyongju. and to make a long story short, we both felt really strongly that we needed to do two things, love your investigators, and love the members, and i guess you could tag a third one on to the list and jsut say that we need to do all we can to serve others with a christ-like love.
So that is what we are trying to do this transfer. love everyone. and what has been really suprising, is at leastfor me, i have discovered, that loving everyone unconditionally is not the easiest thing to do, and only throught the grace of God can we actually do it. I myself am very weak, and insufficint, but in the strength of the Lord, i know that i can do all things, and i know that that is the same for everyone. as we rely on him, we truly come to know where true strength lies, and when we rely on the true source of strength, even Jesus Christ, all of our big problems seem little, and the mountains that seem so tall become in an instant, very, very small. I also want to thank all of you for the many prayers that you have said for me and all of the missionaries throughout the world. There is true strength in those prayers, and I want you all to know that i can feel them, especially when it gets tough. i know that it is because of your prayers, that many missionaries, including me, have found strength when there was not any to be found, and peace, when it was not around. in the bible dictionary, it says that prayer is 'a form of work' .
also one of my favorite quotes by President Gordon B. Hinckley is, "forget yourself, and go to work"
It only makes sense, that one of the best ways to truly forget yourself is to pour your soul out in sincere prayer to your heavenly father for yourselves, and those around you. because you may not be able to lend everyone a hand, but we sure can lend them a prayer. I love prayer, and I really want to get better at praying. because it truyl is a miracle gift from our father in heaven.
I love you all so much! keep being amazing!
Love,
