we have has yet another busy week here! after transfer week there was hardly room to breathe because we had to start getting ready for zone conferences. which included creating the newsletter, our companions translating it, and making these 'faith project' cards for everyone in the mission. its a little card with scripture verses on every side, and it has a little mustard seed laminated into it. they are really neat, and they will help us all in crease our faith.
today i got to see the beginning stages of making kimchee. it starts by buying 35 heads of HUGE cabbage. we just got back from doing that a little while ago and for some reason it took 3 hours. but it was pretty interesting. now sister Lee the mission cook is going to wash it all and make kimchee for the rest of the year.
last week nothing really happened except for the new trainees coming in. they came in at 10:100 at night, and are really neat missionaries. i like them.
this week we are going to have thanksgiving dinner at President Barrows house! we will have a traditional thanksgiving meal! i cant wait. i will let you know how it compares to lawrys prime rib.
other than that there really isn't any exciting news for the week. we were just busy and nothing crazy or super unusual happened.
i hope you are all having a great week, and have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
some pictures we used on a power point for trainee orientation.
