Another week come and gone it is crazy. i say that a lot but it is true, i blink and its february. i'm still moving along. korean is improving, testimony is growing, and i learn new things every single day. someone in the mtc, said that you will learn at least one thing from every single companion you have. and so far its true, i've only had one, but he has taught me a lot. one of them is attention to detail, i'm still really working on this one, but take care of the little things that don't seem to matter, coupled with doing service all the time. all the time, when a members white board pen runs out of ink, he is the first to get up and get a new one, or he just cleans things without being asked, he always does these little acts of service all the time, and i'm trying to get better at that. so we have 5 investigators right now, so thats great, we have jon man yeoung, who is progressing very well. the others, we meet with about once a week, thats when they say they can, we try to meet with them more often though. we still do a lot of street contacting, which is a blast. so in three weeks my companion goes home and who knows what i will do, i think we find out next week or the week after, i'm not sure, but it will work out. i've been trying to work diligently 24/7 lately, and it is really made a difference, really i am focusing on just the times during the day where we wouldn't do much like after 9:30 and meal hours. i try to get as much out of those as possible. this work is amazing i love it! like i said before mt testimony just keeps growing and growing. i love all of you and hopw you count your blessings, it helps! theres also a mormon message called, you never know how much good you do. its really good, we watched it a few times in the mtc. its taught me a lot you guys should watch it too.

Love,

More about Elder Dobbins' investigator:

M: What's the hold up from your investigator that felt the spirit? How's he progressing? Is there a baptism set?

I: he is doing well, his progression is slow but sure, he reads the book of mormon every night and says he doesn't have faith now, but he will continue to try and find it, so we can't push him too hard, but we can't let him stand still. we will most likely talk about recognizing the holy ghost when we next teach him so he can recognize the answers. no baptism date, but he will. we are planning to set one next time we see him. the 28 of february if he will commit.

M: Is he battling any vices? Is there anything I can do to help? Is there anything I can do for you?

I: not that we know of, he just needs to grow his faith. prayers always appreciated, but you do that already. he'll be fine we just need to work hard and good things will happen.

(For all those who read Elder Dobbins blog, please pray for his investigators. Thank you to all those who keep Elder Dobbins in your prayers.)
