i speak a little korean and understand even less, but i love every minute of it! so a lot has happened in the last week. last p-day i was still kind of taking things in so i didn't really focus on filling you guys in on what is happening other than the questions you asked and i'm sorry about that i will do better from here on out. we are busy here all the time in the MTC. its pretty much get up, gym time, breakfast, class, lunch, class, dinner, class, bed with some slight variations depending on the day. i'm never bored though. all the time i'm learning new things and having great experiences. we have two teachers now and they are both awesome. the first one which i think i told you about is sister Allen. she is such a funny person and you can tell she loves teaching in the MTC. she went to Korea on her mission i don't recall where though. the other teachers name is Brother Hone. he is really awesome too. he just got back from his mission in korea 4 months or so ago. our teachers also double as the investigators we are teaching. we didn't know this at first, so when we met our new teacher (brother hone) we were quite surprised. its good though. so now we have two investigators because we have two teachers, but they are not the same if you know what i mean. teacher mode is completely different from investigator mode. when we first taught sister allen(as an investigator) it was interesting because we didn't know what to expect. brother hone just opened the door when we knocked so we thought that that was what she would do to. but she started yelling through the door and me and my companion just started laughing. it was so unexpected. the lesson went well though. we tried as best we could to teach her about the power of the scriptures and the restoration and we think she understood what we were saying but we will never know for sure because we have absolutely no idea what she is saying when she talks. we kind of know what the teachers say in class because its pretty much a game of charades. they use English rarely. overall i do like teaching though. its an opportunity to learn and grow and thats what its all about. sometimes we get a little discouraged and its a challenge to convey thoughts that we have but i thing that it is good that we have a limited vocabulary because we can only state it simple, which is always better. if i were english speaking i fear i would be getting in my own way a lot of the time just because i would want to say too much. anyways i love it here. the oldest two districts leave next monday and they are so excited to go. in just 7 short weeks that will be us. so the big sport that everyone plays in the korean branch is soccer. so every p-day we go to the exercise fields and play soccer and it is so much fun. we will play here in an hour and a half or so. laundry is an adventure too. we had to wake up early this morning so we could have enough time to do laundry, write emails, play soccer and go to the temple. if you don't it takes you three hours to do laundry and thats just ridiculous we will never do it at 9:00 am again. thanks again for sending me my suit it helps so much being able to wear the same thing every other day rather than every day. i fixed the button on it too somewhat. i am the king of sewing now. i don't know if thats what everyone else thinks but i'm pretty sure they do. love you guys!
