I went on exchanges with elder smith, and we had a blast. He is from utah, and has been out the same amount of time as elder affleck. we also got a chance to meet with some new investigators this week. this week. it is a man and his wife, and he works at the samsung shipyard. he really wants to learn english and his wife does to, but he is more exuberant about learning it.
fun fact right now im emailing on a huge TV in the church in our district leaders area, its quite the setup. from what i have heard MERS is not really a problem anymore. but obviously we still need to be careful. we also played basketball today, and it was a lot of fun. im not nearly as athletic as i used to be, elder affleck can run circles around me, but we still beat elder affleck and his team so im satisfied. im not very good at basketball, but it is still fun. we also got to meet some noew investigators this week. they are really nice people. just english interest now, but they are good people. Hopefully over time they come to see the importance of the message we have. English is a huge tool here in Korea. everyone wants to learn it, and nobody cares much about learning about church. It might be one of the biggest in the world. but it is really a blessing. if it werent for english there would be so many people we never would have gotten to meet. I love missionary work, and everything about it. the good and the bad, is just a great adventure. i know the God is always watching over us, and that he is directing this work, I love you!
