absolutely nothing interesting happened this week
unless you count your companion getting surgery interesting. then everything interesting happened this week!
so on when was it. friday night we were going to a member appointment and my companions leg really started hurting. but we didnt know why. so he went to go figure out what was wrong and he has this weird blood blister on his leg. but w had to go to the appointment so we did it and while we were walking home he was in some serious pain. but he is awesome and toughed it out till we got home. so we looked at what was wrong and turns out the blood blister thing had gotten bigger. so we called sister barrow and asked her about it and she told us that she would call the area doctor in japan and let him know. so a little while later we get a call from the area doctor in tokyo japan and he tells us that is is a really big blood blister and we have three options. do nothing, pop it, or wait till tomorrow. so naturally we all decided to try and pop the thing. so i was on the flashlight elder dietz was the surgeon and we did our very best to solve the situation. while we are in the middle of it all we get another call from the area doctor and he said. oh by the infected stuff inside is very contagious so be careful.... that would have been nice to know before we went ER mode on my companion but we just washed everything really well afterwards. but anyways we do all we know and are told to do do we go to bed. and the next morning we get another call form the doctor asking how it is and it wasnt any bettor or worse so he just told us to go to the clinic. so we did and my companion goes in and comes out about 15 minutes later and says "elder dobbins, i have to get surgery!" it was only minor surgery but they cleaned it all out for sure and now he is sitting gingerly. hahaha. the blood blister was on the inside of his leg and when he sits it hurts. lets just say 6 hours of church yesterday was fun for him. but he is doing great now. and hell be fine. he is just under doctors orders not to sweat... which is pretty interesting because it is summer in daegu city, the hottest city in korea. but we bought some new pants and it all should work out.
and as for investigators, it has been a little tricky to meet with them lately because of many reasons they tell us on the phone.
but i know the church is true and if we trust the lord and cling to the rod.
well be just fine
love,
