(Email in response to mom questions)
M: I was so excited to read your email about your investigator who accepted baptism commitment. How has that gone this week?
Anymore investigators? Update on them.
I: our investigator is doing great. we met with him again and talked with him about the power of prayer. and how he can get answers through prayer. he is progressing great. we had another potential investigator that we were going to meet with but he wasnt there when we went to his house. so we will need to try again tomorrow, or the next day depending on when they can meet.
M: How's your cooking? What are you eating these days?
I: cooking is improved i guess you could say. my companion does most of it, but he has taught me how to make a few things. so when he leaves here in four weeks i will have to start doing it on my own. i eat lots of rice and other korean food. kimche all the time.
M: Pictures and details are always appreciated.
I hope the language is going well and that you are getting better each week.
I: everything else is going great and i am definately improving every day. i love it here and love the people so much. pictures definately coming.

it was transfer day and we went down to Busan for the meeting. so we didnt get to email yesterday. the weirdest thing i have eaten is some thing called Bondegi it is fried silk-worm pupas and it is absolutely disgusting. a Sister in our english class brought it for us one day. it has been so much fun and a great experience the last few months. im now in the second transfer in the field, and it is crazy. ive learned so much and come so far, and i have almost a whole two years to keep getting better. i love this work! answers to praysers come in all sorts of places.
