Hello family! i hope you are doing well! so elder parks leg is doing alot better. now the last thing that needs to finish healing up is his ankle. but eventually all will be well.
so heres a little cool miracle that happened this last week. one day while we were doing something i completely forgot what we were doing. a guy calls us wanting to meet with us, his name is han in koo. and he is a really great guy.but anyways he had apparently met with missionaries a little while ago and has english interest but nowadays he has more interesting the gospel and learning about God. so we met with him and he really showed alot of good interest. he is a bus driver and he has a crazy schedule. we ended giving him a book of mormon and asking him to read it. he said he would. there was not a whole bunch of other progress made in that visit, but ill let you know how it goes the next time we meet with him.
we have also been meeting with Harry regularly and he is doing well. he is kind of coming around very slowly. right now our goal with him is to get him to church. because he likes our church better than any of the other churches and he said that the biggest reason that he doesnt come to church is because it is far away. so right now we are helping him get to church. pray for him please. he has potential.
this last week i was just thinking about alot of things. and amidst all of my thinking i came to read the talk by Jeffery R Holland of last general conference. and as i was reading it the part abut the greatest commandment came up and as you know the first great commandment of all eternity is to love God with all of our heart might mind and strength. but right after elder holland says that he continues and says "but the first great truth of all eternity is that God loves us with all of his heart might mind and strength.". when i read that it hit home. my eyes of understanding were opened up a little wider and i came to understand a little more of how God thinks about us. how much he loves us and how he really wants more than anything for us to return to wive with him forever. alot of people just say that god is this frightening being who lived to pass judgments of damnation on all who make mistakes. and God is a god of justice. but he also the God of Mercy. that is why he gave us his some Jesus Christ. and He wants so bad for us to return to him. i imagine if there are people on the other side cheering us on our biggest fans are God the father and his son Jesus Christ.
and when you realize how much God really loves you and how much he wants and is willing to help you, when you realize that he wants you on his team everything changes. mountains seem smaller and you can all of the sudden see his hand in your life alot easier.
i love you all and hope that you can all understand a little better this week how much God really loves you.!!
love,
