Hello Everyone! this last week was a pretty good one! didnt get to eat dog soup this week but thats ok. i will be able to live a week without it. anyways so i guess ill just start out with a interesting story. so elder park and i were headed to somewhere i dont remember where. but we werer riding the subway toward our destination. while we were riding i started noticeing someone who was yelling a great deal about who kows what. so i started actually listen to what the yelling person was saying. and she was screaming at everyone "REPENT REPENT OR GO TO HELL!" "BELIEVE IN JESUS OR GO TO HELL!" pretty bold, pretty loud. i guess i was a little impressed by her level of gumption. but doing that in korea is suoer illegal and those kind of people are the reason why everyone hates churches in korea. but anyways she kept yelling and yelling and then left to the next subway car and kept on doing her preaching thing. me and my companion just looked at eachoter an laughed a little. and we just kept riding the subway. and we get to the next stop. and the door opens to the subway and a security guard comes in and asks "HAVE YOU SEEN ANY RELIGOUS PEOPLE PROSEYLATING?" my companion and i were like 'uh oh' (becasue we are missionaries, and what do we do all day? proseylate...)and the buddhist monk looked a little uncomfortable too. but we and everyone pointed down the car and said "she went that way!". so the other missionary got kicked off the subway and we live to preach another day. the monk too. he got to stay too.
the rest of this week was pretty standard. oh i dont know if i have told you all this before but there is a man named KAHOE GUSTAVUS who is preparing to go on a mission here . he is from hawaii right around Laie(pardon the spelling) but he is awesome he went with us to go meet our investigator harry. and now they are best friends. harry also introduced us to one of his friends last night. and we had a really good conversation with him about the church and he actually ended up changing his views about christian churches. well get to see him again tomarrow. but he is doing military service and has to go back on thursday or something. so we wont be able to keep meeting him. but we are pretty sure a really good seed was planted.
i love you all and hope you have a gerat week.
