I finally can say that i have served in asia. I ate dog. and it is now my favorite food. it is sooooooooooooooooooooo good. imagine roast beef, but extremely tender. and more delicious. sorry or all of the animal lovers out there, but it is honestly one of the top five meals i have eaten in the last 20 months. i highly recommend it. this last week was actually a really buy week. we met with alot of investigators. and it turned out to just be a really really fast week. and i think that elder park, my companion is stating to realize how fast missionary time goes, because he tells me everyday how fast it goes.
so another cool story, elder parks aunt lives in the ward and is a member, her husband is not. so she invited us out to lunch at a place called shabu shabu, one of my other favorite foods. it is thinly sliced beef, boiled in broth and there is also a buffet with the best cookies ever. well they aren't very high quality cookies but i like them alot. but anyways. that morning we were talking with a team about our plans for the day and we said "were going to go eat shabu shabu! and they said, "no way we are too!" but we didnt think anything of it because they were going o a different pat of the city. well it turns out that their investigator and our member appointment ended up being at the same restaurant. just a funny story.
one thing that i really enjoy and am grateful for the opportunity to experience on my mission is the opportunity to see people change, and become better than they were. especially being able to serve with elder park in his first couple transfers. i have had th privilege to see him improve so much and it gives me so much hope for the future of missionary work.
love you all!
